❝ Exfoliating. ❞

When it comes down to skincare, we can never get too much of it. Whether you're old or young, male or female, wrinkly or with a baby face, beauty products can help you with something. In skincare, one of the main things in this criteria would be a clear face. We can wash, tone, add serums, moisturizers, etc. But what about exfoliating?
Exfoliating helps with removing extra dirt and particles that your cleansers/washes may actually miss. Depending on your skin type, you may need to exfoliate 1-2x's per week. There are varieties of exfoliating products and ingredients. Some natural ones may include salt, sugar, poppy seed, and more. You can buy them at stores or make them yourself. Please do keep in mind to use exfoliants in moderation, as too much exfoliating can actually irritate your skin.. especially if you have a sensitive skin type.
My favorite exfoliator would have to be Ocean Salt by LUSH cosmetics. It has a beautiful white/blue color to it and it smells of a combination of grapefruit, lime, and a small hint of vodka. The exfoliating agent in this scrub is the sea salt in it. It's kind of a mild consistency, the salt. They say that vodka can help with impurities (.. really? Didn't know that before. Never would have thought, actually), as do grapefruit with oily complexions), whilst limes and grapefruit help with things such a ridding blemishes, settling an oily face, and things of that nature. i get so excited when I smooth it across my face - and when I wash it off, my skin feels soft, yet slippery (not TOO slippery - in a good way).
Now you may or may not consider adding an exfoliator to your regimen and that's okay. We are all different along with the fact that we all have our own wants and needs.
Do you exfoliate? With what?
